The other day we received a message from a young lady who was inspired by our homeless outreach. She decided to reach out to those in her high school community and share hope and love through uplifting messages with her classmates. Take a look.
Homelessness can happen to anyone. Homelessness can happen to you.
We may walk past and look down on those asking for some help on the streets, but what do you know? Do you know their story? Often times we jump to conclusions and assume the worst in people, but why can't we assume the best in people? Why look for the "bad" in others? Reality is, your world may fall apart all of a sudden and you might be that person living on the streets. How would you want to be treated? In this world, we are pressured to be "perfect" and "successful" but all we can do is to be the best that we can, no matter what others think. This world needs more love and less hate.
